We have gathered some of the questions many people have.
Please contact us if your question is not answered here.
1. Accommodations
How many houses do you have?
One house is ready for booking - the house called Betty!
The next house - Luna - will be ready in spring 2026.
Do I share bathroom & kitchen with others?
Since we at the moment only have one Tiny House ready (out of two), you have the bathroom/kitchen for yourself.
When the second house are ready it will be a shared space - and we will provide more than one option for both bathroom & kitchen facilities.
Both tiny houses will also have a outdoor kitchen connected to the house
How far is it to the bathroom & kitchen from the Tiny House?
There are about 50 meters to walk from and 25 from Luna. The cozy path is lit by lamps in the evening & night.
What do I need to bring?
Bedlinen & towels are provided.
There is a small but fully equipped indoor kitchen located 50 meters from the tiny house, as well as an outdoor kitchen next to the cabin (mainly for use during summer).
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, oil, spices, two types of coffee makers, coffee, tea, honey, sugar, dish soap, dishcloths, cleaning cloths, kitchen towels, etc.
There are also unbrellas, raincoats, flashlights and outside sitting materials for you to use.
there is a barbecue out side both of the tiny houses but we do not provide with coal and lighting fuel.
Wood for the wood-burning stove inside and outside fireplace is provided by Faunbäck Retreat but for outside fireplace we provide some but we also invite you to pick some for your self around the area.
What to bring:
Bring all other things you need - like toothpaste, shampoo etc.
We also recommend good shoes and clothes for spending time in nature - Faunbäck Retreat is a nature-property - it can be slippery and wet here.
If you want to use the barbecue you need to bring own coal.
Is food included or should I bring that myself?
You bring food yourself. You have access to a kitchen where you can prepare and cook as well as our new outdoor kitchen attached to Betty! There is also the possibility to cook outside over open fire.
Can I stay in the Tiny House during cold times?
The Tiny House has a wood-burning stove that you can use in cold times. Firewood is provided. There is also some inside-shoes to borrow, raincoats, umbrellas etc.
2. Transport, parking & check-in/out
Do I need a car to get to your place?
Faunbäck Retreat is most easily accessed by car. However, there is also a bus service from Höör Station. For details, visit Skånetrafiken.se and search for the bus stop ‘Furuvägen’ to view the timetable.
If you prefer, you can request a pickup in your booking. We’re happy to offer this service for 100 SEK each way, provided we are available at your arrival or departure time
Where do I park my car?
Directly opposite the Tiny House, you’ll find parking space for your car.
When is check in & check out?
Check-in available after 3:00 PM on arrival day
Check-out by 11:00 AM on departure day
Earlier check-in or later check-out is sometimes possible - reach out to us if you want to explore that opportunity. We charge 100 SEK/hour.
3. Allergies, pets & children
I am allergic to cats - is that a problem?
Since we got curious cats on the site, we cannot promise that they have not been in the house.
If you are very allergic you will need to consider bringing some medication or finding another place to stay. Please contact us if you have more specific questions around this before you book.
Can I bring a dog?
Since we have cats we are not so happy about dogs & the houses are small - we decided that dog are not welcome.
What about children?
The tiny houses feature a 160 cm bed. There is no option to add an extra mattress or bed in the house.
Children are welcome, but please note that our retreat is not specifically equipped for children, and their safety remains your responsibility. As many guests come here to relax, we maintain a generally quiet environment. If you bring a child, please be mindful of this and respect the peaceful atmosphere.
