You Can walk to Vaxsjön
From Faunbäck Retreat, you can walk along a charming little road that eventually turns into a path leading directly to Lake Vaxsjön.
It's about a 4 km walk.
When you arrive at Vaxsjön, you'll find several swimming spots and a scenic walking trail around the entire lake.

Hiking trails - Skåneleden
The popular hiking trail Skåneleden offers routes all over Skåne.
From Faunbäck Retreat, you can walk a couple of kilometers through the forest to connect to the trail. From there, continue toward Vaxsjön or north to Tjörnarpssjön, surrounded by peaceful woodland and open landscapes.
The forest right beside Faunbäck Retreat offers kilometers of forest roads and small animal trails to explore. If you enjoy following a marked route, Skåneleden is close by — but you can also simply step outside the door and wander freely in the surrounding nature.

Bicycling
If you bring a bicycle, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore beautiful places.
If you plan to ride into the forest, we recommend an off-road bike with good tires, as some of the gravel roads have loose stones.
